Who writes WavesRank
WavesRank is run by Shafiq Ahmed, who has worked in IT and cybersecurity for more than ten years. His day job is at an IT services company in Saudi Arabia that helps businesses with firewalls, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 and security compliance. The guides here come from that hands-on work: the setups, mistakes and fixes that small businesses actually run into.
How we work
- Guides are written from real setup experience. Where we show steps, they are steps we know work.
- Comparisons are based on research. We compare products using vendor documentation, published pricing, independent test results and feature lists, and we say so clearly. We do not claim to have tested a product unless we actually have.
- We update articles when products, prices or settings change, and show the date of the last update.
- Fewer, better articles. We would rather publish one useful guide than ten thin ones.
